Care is the cornerstone of our practice
Yoga Instructor
Sue has always been passionate about health, fitness and wellbeing, playing a variety of sports throughout school and university. A keen runner and cyclist, Sue started practising yoga as a means of stretching and aiding recovery after exercising.
After suffering an intense hip, knee and groin injury, Sue turned to yoga on a more regular basis as a means of keeping fit and to support her rehabilitation and recovery. Finding that a regular yoga practise was helping reduce pain and strengthen her body, Sue became interested in anatomy and began learning about the mechanics of the muscles and functional body movement.
At the same time, Sue was struggling with exhaustion and mental overload so started to meditate. After the initial fidgeting stage passed, Sue discovered that a regular meditation and yoga practise was really helping quieten her mind and discover the calmness of the present moment. She became hooked and so began her Yoga teacher training course, specialising in Vinyasa Flow Yoga.
Now fully qualified, Sue is passionate about helping others start and / or deepen their relationship with their breath and body. Working both one-on-one and with small groups, Sue has seen her clients gain flexibility and strength alongside a renewed self confidence and a calmer mind.
